AI can be helpful in diabetes monitoring

According to a report published in Medical Life Science, a team of researchers from the University of Warwick, UK, England, has developed this new Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI technology through study. In this technique, low glucose levels can be detected through ECG i.e. electrocardiogram through wearable without a fingerpick test. This device is connected to new artificial intelligence, which will be able to detect the problem of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) from the signals received from ECG.

The researchers' technique works with about 82 percent reliability and could replace the current method of testing blood sugar, in which blood is drawn by pricking the finger with a needle. This technique is especially suitable for children, who are a little intimidated by the current test (blood glucose test) through a needle.
