How is the result of Prega News test kit negative?

If 1 pink line appears, the result is negative. This means that you are not pregnant. This negative result indicates that no HCG has been found in your body and hence you can assume that you are not pregnant. Now if your periods are not coming even after a week, then you should do another pregnancy test.

If the result comes negative even after testing again, then your chances of getting pregnant are low. However, because you are having a delay in menstruation, then this can also be due to some health related reasons, so you should visit your doctor without any delay so that if you have irregular menstrual problems, then it can be treated.

How Is The Result Of Prega News Test Kit Invalid?

If one line is dark and the other is light, it means that there was not enough hCG hormone in your urine to test. If this happens, you will have to test again the next day.

If no line appears, the test kit is not good. An invalid result may also indicate that the test strip was not fully soaked in urine. In such a case, dip the strip again in the urine sample for at least 5 seconds and wait for 10 minutes for the result. If still no line appears, the test becomes invalid and you should test again the next day. Each test strip is made for one-time use only and therefore should not be reused. If you need to test again, use a new strip.

What Is The Accuracy Of The Prega News Test Kit?

The overall accuracy of the Prega News test kit is around 95-98%. If you want to be absolutely sure, you can do a beta hCG. This is a blood test to check the level of hCG present in the blood to detect pregnancy. Note that the first urine in the morning is likely to give the best results, as the level of hCG in your urine is highest during this time.

If you have not used an expired kit and have correctly placed the urine on the test strip, the chances of you getting an accurate result are high. If the test result is negative, you are either not pregnant or it may also be that you took the test too early.

Although pregnancy can occur even when the hCG level is as low as 5 mIU/ml, Prega News can detect it only at a level of around 20 mIU/ml. Therefore, it may be recommended to test again after 4-5 days.
