Yes, Xoxe can treat pneumonia. Along with pneumonia, it can also be used in the treatment of bronchitis caused by bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Haemophilus parainfluenzae.
No, Xoxe is not a sulfa drug. It contains cefotaxime which belongs to the class of drugs known as cephalosporins. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic which covers a wide range of bacteria which are generally found to be resistant to penicillin.
