Ujvira contains Trastuzumab, is a monoclonal antibody utilized primarily in the treatment of HER2-positive breast and gastric cancers. HER2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor 2) is a protein that promotes cell growth; its overexpression is associated with aggressive tumor behavior. Trastuzumab targets this protein, inhibiting cancer cell proliferation. Trastuzumab has significantly improved outcomes for patients with HER2-positive cancers. Mechanism of Action
