Ranocin, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Sinusitis, Tonsillitis, Bronchitis. Ranocin also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Food and Ranocin
Taking Ranocin with food is safe.
Interaction between Alcohol and Ranocin
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Ranocin with alcohol will be.
Ranocin should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 3 - 7-day course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, Ranocin can treat the sinus infection. However, a combination of Ranocin and clavulanic acid is given as the first-line drug for the treatment of sinus infection. Please consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for sinus infection.
Yes, you can take Ranocin with paracetamol. No clinical drug-drug interactions have observed between them. However, if you feel any side effects after consuming these two medicine at the same time then inform the doctor and follow his/her instructions.
