It works by preventing the cell wall synthesis in bacteria by binding to specific proteins (penicillin-binding proteins). The cell wall protects the bacteria from the environment, in the absence of this cell wall, the bacteria becomes vulnerable and dies.
Yes, Pandrox might cause a headache. It is a rare side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of a headache is still unknown.
