This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

  • Special Instructions: dose should be given to patients above 3 months, strength 125 mg amoxicillin and 31.25 mg clavulanic acid in 5 ml

  • Dosage Route: Oral
  • Frequency: 12 hourly

  • Special Instructions: dose should be given to patients less than 12 weeks old, strength 125 mg amoxicillin and 31.25 mg clavulanic acid in 5 ml

Occlav is a brand name for amoxicillin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called penicillin antibiotic. How to use Occlav?

Occlav should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection.
