Interaction between Alcohol and Nufix (Cap)
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Nufix (Cap) with alcohol will be.
Yes, Nufix Tablet can be taken with paracetamol, no clinically significant interactions are seen between these two. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction exists between them. Please talk to your doctor before consuming these two medicines at the same time.
Yes, Nufix Tablet can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine. Try keeping yourself hydrated, drink plenty of fluids and take ample rest.
Discontinuing Nufix Tablet in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Nufix Tablet can be taken orally or intravenously. Medicine should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor.
