Mifabort, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Abortion. Other than this, Mifabort has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Mifabort. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Mifabort also has some side effects, the most common being Uterine Cramps, Uterine Bleeding. While these are the most often observed Mifabort side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Mifabort normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

In addition, Mifabort's effect is Severe during pregnancy and Moderate for lactating mothers. It is important to know if Mifabort has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Mifabort related warnings section.

Mifabort is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Bleeding, Porphyria, Diabetes are examples of such conditions. The section on Mifabort contraindications lists all such conditions.
