Yes, Metaphage can cause night sweat, the exact mechanism of sweating is not known. But some research suggests that Metaphage causes hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) especially at night which can cause night sweats. Need to monitor your blood glucose level regularly, and talk to your doctor as your dose of Metaphage may need to be adjusted.
Yes, you can take Metaphage with a beta-blocker. People with diabetes tend to develop heart disease or stroke at an earlier age than the general population. One reason for this is that high glucose levels increase your risk of high blood pressure (hypertension). No harmful interactions are seen between them. However, a recent study suggests that beta-blockers can decrease the plasma level of Metaphage and long-term use can increase lactic acid and uric acid in the blood.
Yes, Metaphage can be taken with the statin. There is no serious or harmful interaction have been observed between them. Some studies say that it's possible your blood sugar (blood glucose) level may increase when you take a statin, which may lead to developing type 2 diabetes. The risk is small but important enough that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning on statin labels regarding blood glucose levels and diabetes.
