Megatuss P is a brand name of bromhexine and it is available in the form of a tablet and syrup. It is a derivative of vasicine alkaloid and a mucolytic agent. Megatuss P is a prescription drug which is used in the treatment of wet cough associated with respiratory diseases and disorders such as bronchial asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema (COPD).
