Loxapac is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. It is primarily used for the treatment of Schizophrenia.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Loxapac. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Loxapac can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Such side effects of Loxapac normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

It is also important to note that Loxapac has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Loxapac has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Loxapac related warnings section.

Loxapac is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome, Tardive Dyskinesia, Heart Disease as it can result in adverse effects. Other contraindications of Loxapac have been discussed in the sections ahead.
