Interaction between Food and Kefdox
Taking Kefdox with food is safe.
Interaction between Alcohol and Kefdox
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Kefdox with alcohol will be.
Kefdox works by inhibiting the growth of bacterial cell wall which is essential for the growth of bacteria. Hence, in this way, it prevents us from bacterial infection.
Kefdox can be safely taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine suddenly or take it longer than prescribed duration.
Occasionally, Kefdox can cause drug-induced thrombocytopenia (blood clot formation in a vessel). However, if you experience severe thrombocytopenia after taking this medicine, please immediately seek medical help.
Rarely Kefdox can cause neurotoxicity. It is a reversible side effect of this drug, the symptoms caused due to drug-induced neurotoxicity often disappear after this drug is stopped.
