Yes Infexol is used to treat typhoid fever. It is second-line treatment for typhoid fever. If other antibiotics are resistant to salmonella typhi then this drug is found to be very effective to give symptomatic relief during typhoid.
Infexol can be safely taken as long as it has been prescribed by your doctor.
Yes, Infexol can be taken with paracetamol, no clinically significant interactions are seen between these two. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction exists between them. Please talk to your doctor before consuming these two medicines at the same time.
Infexol is a prescription drug so do not take it without consulting doctor. It can be harmful for people to take this medicine without a doctor's advice.
Discontinuing Infexol in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief.
