Hepakind should be taken as directed by your doctor. The main aim of this drug is to dissolve gallstones and it may take a few months to a year to work effectively. Do not self-medicate yourself assuming that you have gallstones this is strictly a prescribed Hepakind.
No, this Hepakind is not a diuretic drug, it does not cause frequent urination. This drug helps in dissolving gallstones. But any kind of discoloration in urine or excess urine output should be discussed with the doctor to avoid any other underlying medical complications.
Hepakind is usually not associated with lower abdomen pain. But one must not ignore lower abdomen pain as lower abdomen pain could be an indication of undissolved gallstones and other underlying medical conditions. Take a mild painkiller and if the pain does not subside then seek medical attention without any further delay.
No, Hepakind does not cause weight loss. It facilitates the process of weight loss by preventing the formation of gallstones and breaking the cholesterol molecules in patients who lose weight rapidly.
No, Hepakind does not cause itching. In fact, it is used for the alleviation of itching in pregnant women who suffer from intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. (A disease in which flow of bile from the liver stops or slowdowns). However, any visible rashes or discomfort experienced while taking this drug to inform your gynecologist and follow his/her instructions. Do not discontinue the medicinal course on your own.
