Yes, Hairex might make hair thicker. A clinical study has found that it can increase the diameter of the hair but the results cannot be generalized on everyone.
Hairex contains minoxidil which is a vasodilator and it works by causing dilation of blood vessels which reduces the blood pressure. For hair loss, it is presumed that Hairex works by directly stimulating the resting hair follicles and increasing blood flow in the skin of the applied area which promotes hair follicles growth.
