Taking Genfix O Tablet with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Avoid taking Genfix O Tablet with azithromycin, because it can cause a heart-related problems. However, if you are experiencing any unwanted effects after consuming these two medicines at the same time then consult your doctor and follow his/her instruction.
Yes Genfix O Tablet is used to treat typhoid fever. It is second-line treatment for typhoid fever. If other antibiotics are resistant to salmonella typhi then this drug is found to be very effective to give symptomatic relief during typhoid.
Discontinuing Genfix O Tablet in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
