Etoron P is a brand name of etodolac and it is available in the form of tablets, and capsules. It belongs to the class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to relieve pain, swelling and stiffness arises due to osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
Etoron P work by preventing the impulse generation of pain in the central nervous system (CNS) and blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins through inhibition of enzymes (cyclooxygenase-1 and -2 also known as COX-1 and COX-2). Hence in this way, it provides relief from pain and inflammation.
