Elmif is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Abortion are some of its major therapeutic uses. Secondary and off-label uses of Elmif have also been mentioned below.

The optimal dosage of Elmif is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Elmif also has some side effects, the most common being Uterine Cramps, Uterine Bleeding. While these are the most often observed Elmif side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Elmif normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

Elmif's effect during pregnancy is Severe and Moderate while nursing. In addition, Elmif's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Elmif related warnings section.

Elmif is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Bleeding, Porphyria, Diabetes are examples of such conditions. Some other conditions that can be affected by Elmif are listed in the contraindications section below.
