Yes, Ctor AM can be taken with telmisartan. As per clinical studies, no harmful interaction has been reported after taking them. However, do not take it without doctors advise. A fixed-dose combination of Ctor AM and telmisartan is available in the market which is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
Ctor AM comes in form of a tablet and ideally, it should be taken by mouth once daily as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with food or without food at any time of the day. Precautions must be taken in patients with liver disease, diabetes, and hypothyroidism.
Ctor AM is calcium channel blocker. It works by inhibiting the movement of calcium into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac cells which inhibits the contraction of cardiac muscle and vascular smooth muscle and reduce electrical conduction within heart cell and dilate blood vessel.
