Interaction between Food and Climple
Taking Climple with food does not cause any problems.
Interaction between Alcohol and Climple
Due to lack of research, there is no information about the side effects of taking Climple with alcohol.
Oral Climple can be taken with or without food because food does not have any effect on the absorption of this drug. The topical gel of Climple should be applied as a thin layer once daily on the affected area or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with colitis and improper kidney or liver function.
No, Climple does not contains penicillin. It contains clindamycin which is a macrolide antibiotic that belongs to the class of drug known as lincosamide and it has a broad spectrum activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria that are generally found to be resistant to penicillin.
Yes, oral Climple causes diarrhoea. It is a common side effect of this drug. To keep yourself well hydrated, drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this drug. If you are experiencing severe diarrhoea after taking this drug then discuss with your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Yes, Climple can treat UTI (urinary tract infection) but it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
