Interaction between Alcohol and Clavimox Syrup
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Clavimox Syrup.
Yes, Clavimox can cause yeast infection especially in women. You are recommended to inform doctor/gynaecologist if you are experiencing symptoms of yeast infections after taking this medicine.
Rarely Clavimox causes weight gain or loss. However, If you feel your weight is fluctuating after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Discontinuing Clavimox on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor before discontinuing medicine on your own.
Clavimox can be safely taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine suddenly or take it longer than prescribed duration.
Clavimox should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 3 - 7-day course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
