Cefnid is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Gonorrhea, Meningitis. The alternative uses of Cefnid have also been explained below.

The optimal dosage of Cefnid is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Cefnid can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Cefnid are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Cefnid's effect during pregnancy is Safe and Mild while nursing. In addition, Cefnid's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Cefnid related warnings section.

Cefnid is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Jaundice, Drug Allergy are examples of such conditions. Other contraindications of Cefnid have been discussed in the sections ahead.
