Yes, Cefil can be taken with tylenol. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug along with paracetamol then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Cefil contains cefalexin which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is active against a wide variety of bacteria. It works by preventing the cell wall synthesis in bacteria by binding to specific proteins (penicillin-binding proteins). The cell wall protects the bacteria from the environment, in the absence of a cell wall, the bacteria becomes vulnerable and dies. Cefil is effective against bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Beta-hemolytic streptococci, Moraxella catarrhalis, Staphylococci strains, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, and Klebsiella species.
