Amoxylac is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Secondary and off-label uses of Amoxylac have also been mentioned below.
The right dosage of Amoxylac depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. The most common side effects of Amoxylac are Flatulence, Abdominal cramp, Fever. While these are the most often observed Amoxylac side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Amoxylac normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

Interaction between Food and Amoxylac
Due to a lack of research, nothing can be said about the consequences of taking Amoxylac together with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Amoxylac
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Amoxylac with alcohol will be.
Yes, Amoxylac can be taken with cough medicine. Clinically no harmful drug-drug interactions have been reported between them. However, if you feel any side effects after taking these two medicines at the same time, please inform the doctor and follow his/her instructions.
Amoxylac should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 3 - 7-day course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Rarely Amoxylac causes weight gain or loss. However, If you feel your weight is fluctuating after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Amoxylac can be safely taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine suddenly or take it longer than prescribed duration.
Amoxylac is a brand name for amoxicillin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called penicillin antibiotic.
