Alfi works by inhibiting the growth of bacterial cell wall which is essential for the growth of bacteria. Hence, in this way, it prevents us from bacterial infection.
Yes, Alfi can be taken with paracetamol, no clinically significant interactions are seen between these two. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction exists between them. Please talk to your doctor before consuming these two medicines at the same time.
Discontinuing Alfi in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief.
