Acirest D contains domperidone (dopamine D2-receptor antagonist). It works by inhibiting the neurotransmitter dopamine (a chemical messenger present in our body) from acting on the vomiting center present in the brain thus preventing nausea and vomiting which provides relief to the patient from nausea and vomiting.
No, Acirest D does not cause erectile dysfunction. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking it. It is not a known side effect of this drug.
Yes, Acirest D has been reported to cause rashes or itching but this occurs in a few cases only. It is a common side effect of this medicine. If you experience excessive itching then consult it with your doctor immediately.
