The skin can be brightened by regular use of curd, lemon and aloe vera etc. You can make your skin soft and smooth by staying at home in the following ways -

  • Mix some petals of saffron in 1 cup of hot milk. Then let the milk cool down. After this, apply milk on the skin with the help of cotton and wash it with clean water after half an hour. This will improve the complexion of the skin.
  • Mix a pinch of turmeric in a little curd and apply it on the face regularly. Wash it with clean water after half an hour of applying this mixture on the face.
  • Mix lemon juice and cucumber juice in equal quantities and apply it on the face for 30 minutes every day and wash it with water.
  • Mix cucumber and ripe papaya pulp in curd. You can also add a little lemon juice to it. Apply this mixture on the face twice a week and after it dries at normal temperature, wash it with normal water.
  • For oily skin, make a paste of 1 teaspoon Multani Mitti with a little rose water and lemon juice and apply it on the face and wash the face after it dries.
  • Make a paste by mixing a little curd and a pinch of turmeric in 1 teaspoon almond powder and apply it on the face. After about half an hour, remove it slowly and wash the face with water.
  • Mix a pinch of turmeric and aloe vera gel in 2 teaspoons of gram flour and make a paste and apply it on the skin. When it dries, clean it with water. It can be used daily.
  • Mix milk in 3 teaspoons of aloe vera powder and blend it in a mixer to make a paste. Apply this paste on the face, hands and neck and other exposed parts and wash it off. It is beneficial for normal and all types of skin.
  • For normal to oily skin, make a paste by mixing 1 teaspoon cucumber juice with ripe papaya pulp, aloe vera gel, 2 teaspoons of barley. You can apply it on your face and open parts twice a week.
  • Make a paste by mixing 2 teaspoons aloe vera gel, raw milk, rose water and lemon peel powder. You can use this paste twice a week.
