Inonza contains Inotuzumab Ozogamicin, an antibody-drug conjugate used in the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). It works by targeting and killing cancer cells with minimal impact on healthy cells.
Inotuzumab Ozogamicin consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting CD22, linked to a cytotoxic agent. It binds to CD22 on cancer cells, internalizes, and releases the cytotoxic agent, which causes DNA damage and cell death.
