Hypnopam is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Insomnia.

The optimal dosage of Hypnopam is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Some other side effects of Hypnopam have been listed ahead. Such side effects of Hypnopam normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

Hypnopam's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Severe while nursing. In addition, Hypnopam's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Hypnopam related warnings section.

Hypnopam is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Liver Disease, Lung Disease as it can result in adverse effects. The section on Hypnopam contraindications lists all such conditions.
