Constez is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Powder. It is primarily used for the treatment of Constipation. Constez also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Common side effects of Constez include Abdominal distension, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhoea. Usually, these side effects of Constez go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

It is also important to note that Constez has a Unknown effect for pregnant women and Unknown effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Constez's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Constez related warnings section.
