Yoga is a natural and effective way to get relief from throat pain. Certain yoga asanas, such as Lion Pose, Ardha Matsyendrasana and Bhujangasana, strengthen the throat muscles and improve blood flow, which reduces inflammation and pain. Lion Pose especially reduces tension in the throat area and helps activate the throat glands. Regularly practicing these asanas improves throat problems, as well as improves breathing and immunity, which helps protect the throat from infections.
