No Side Effects After Covid-19 Vaccine

So you got your Covid-19 vaccine. And didn’t experience any side effects. All your friends and family did, but not you.

And now you’re wondering if the vaccine worked. And if you’re protected against Covid-19.

Well, first, congratulations to you, your friends and your family for getting vaccinated!

And second, good news: yes, you are protected!

Let us tell you why.

According to the WHO, the reported side effects of COVID-19 vaccines have mostly been mild to moderate and short-lasting.

They include any combination of:

fever
fatigue
headache
muscle pain
chills
diarrhoea
pain at the injection site

However, in all the vaccine trials around the world, approximately 20% of people felt nothing after getting the vaccine.

And most of the people who had side effects, had minor ones like pain at the site of injection.

Everyone is different, their immune systems are different, so just because your immune system behaved in a way that you had no side effects, it does not mean that the vaccine isn’t working.

And lastly, vaccine trials have shown that all fully vaccinated people were equally protected, whether or not they experienced any side effects.
