Yes, Molepen can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine. Try keeping yourself hydrated, drink plenty of fluids and take ample rest.
Yes, Molepen can be taken for a cough, if it is associated with infection caused by bacteria. Please consult your doctor for the best treatment and diagnosis for cough.
Discontinuing Molepen in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing problem and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
