Noncommunicable Hydrocele

• In this surgery, an intravenous line is inserted into the vein of the arm. This line works to deliver fluids or medicines like antibiotics etc. into the body.
•  Anesthesia is given so that there is no pain during surgery. Due to this, the patient goes into deep sleep and does not feel anything during the entire surgery. A tube is placed in the throat for breathing. 
• Now a cut is made in the scrotum. 
• Then the fluid filled pouch i.e. hydrocele is removed. This eliminates the risk of fluid accumulation again. 
• Apart from this, a thin tube can be inserted into the incision, so that the fluid can come out. 
• This tube is taken out after a few days. Now the cut made in the scrotum is sealed and closed.

• One should not do swimming for a few days.
